We are a wonderful Brownie Troop in the Garfield District in Akron, Ohio. We have 32 girls currently in our troop and we are always expanding. Girl Scouting is a wonderful experience for any girl to be involved in. We get to watch girls who are eager to learn, grow and be exposed to new things. All of the planning we do pays off as we see how excited they are every 2 weeks to come to the meetings. We love what we do and look forward to more in the future. The troop has learned a lot of new skills and they have grown so much together. It is not easy when you have this many girls in a troop. But the attitude of our girls make it an enjoyable time for all. We highly recommend Girl Scouts to all girls at any age. It builds a lot of courage and confidence that many girls are lacking at all ages. If you are interested in joining a troop, you may contact us. We are also Placement Specialist for this area. We will try our best to place your daughter in a troop that meets your scheduling needs. We are also always looking for new adult volunteers that can donate some time so other girls can get the same joy and experience as our girls do.
